In this upper level drawing class, students created a cohesive body of work over the course of a semester. They were also responsible for completing independent research of contemporary artists and crafting an artist statement supported by this research. Students then curated, installed, and presented the work and research in a final critique.
My body of work was influenced by research on artists such as Nick Cave, Hilma af Klimt, Naudline Pierre, the Chicago Imagists, and Penny Davenport.
